Ningbo’s CPPCC Members set out to Beijing for the conference

The 3rd Session of the 12th National Committee of the CPPCC, China’s top political advisory body, will open in Beijing on March 3. Tang Yijun, member of the National Committee of CPPCC and president of CPPCC Ningbo Committee and Zhang Minghua, member of the National Committee of CPPCC and deputy mayor of Ningbo, will go to Beijing to attend the conference.
It is learned that Ningbo’s members of the National Committee of CPPCC have plunged into the public and carried out surveys and research meticulously so as to grasp a better picture of social opinions, which paved a solid foundation for taking part in and discussing the governmental and political affairs and fulfilling their functions. Besides, members have also been paying much attention to major issues related to social and economic development as well as the livelihood issues which directly impact on the interest of the public. Focusing on the deepening of reforms, promoting the system of ruling country by laws, developing maritime economy and eco-civilization in an all-round way, they have prepared a series of high-caliber proposals, speeches and issues concerning social opinions such as Suggestions on How to Accelerate the Legislation of City Management to submit at the conference.
Members have all said that they are bearing a big responsibility and honor of duty as members of the National Committee of CPPCC. Proceeding from the national economic and social development, they will do their utmost to live up to their duties and give their contributions by taking full advantage of channels such as proposals and speeches.
