Ningbo selected as pilot city for business integrity construction

It is learned from the launching ceremony of starting business integrity construction in Ningbo and "business integrity awareness month" activity, Ningbo has recently been selected as one of the first ten pilot cities in China for business integrity construction.
In the past few years, Ningbo has made business integrity an important part of "credit Ningbo" construction. Through such activities as the construction of "no fake goods" demonstration streets and demonstration stores, "three green project (green channel, green market and green consumption construction", and the construction of the security traceability system for meat and vegetable, a range of advanced enterprises and institutions with honest business conducts, strong legal awareness, high social prestige and good demonstration effects have sprung up in Ningbo. So far, there are 19 "no fake goods" demonstration streets and 47 demonstration stores, and 357 "honest private enterprises" and "honest businessmen". In the meanwhile, Ningbo takes the lead in the construction of the "three green project", and the security traceability network of meat and vegetable in Ningbo, the most complete of its kind in China, was completed at the end of last year.
As an integral part of the construction of socialist spiritual civilization, business integrity construction is both a basic project of building the market economic system and a kind of countermeasure of regulating the market order. In accordance with the pilot program, Ningbo will make it a major task to "promote business culture and build 'credit Ningbo'". In such industries and fields as food, medicine, department store, catering, beauty and public services, the government will make every endeavor to guarantee the quality of commodities by establishing and improving the systems of purchase inspection, quality commitment, security management and emergency response. In addition, the retailers are encouraged to provide such integrity services as "advance payment" and "return without reason".
It is understood that Ningbo will take this opportunity to continue to carry out such activities as assessing and grading retailers, famous brand-name identification, assessment of renowned trademarks and assessment of consumer-satisfactory enterprises. By guiding the business and trade enterprises to learn brand management concept and experience from the "Time-honored Brands in China", the government will make great efforts to support "brand commodities" and "brand services", and thus building the strong national brands.
Besides Ningbo, the other nine pilot cities include Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing, Qingdao, Shenyang, Wuxi, Fuzhou and Guangzhou.
