Meeting of Fengdu-Changjiang River Delta Cooperation opened in Ningbo

The other day, the Meeting of Fengdu-Changjiang River Delta Cooperation opened in Ningbo. Over 200 officials and entrepreneurs from Ningbo and Fengdu City of Chongqing attended the meeting.
Fengdu City of Chongqing is on the upper stream of the Changjiang River, as one of the important counties of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone. On the Changjiang River, the county is characteristic for its traffic conditions. It has 47 km of golden waterway of the Changjiang River and its planned port handling capacity is 1/5 of Chongqing.
At the meeting, 8 agreements were signed, with the investment totaling about 5.89 billion yuan. Of the projects signed, the automobile trade city, a project with the investment totaling 720 million yuan, is invested by Ningbo Zhongchuan Electromechanical Equipment Company. The 8 projects are estimated to have their annual sales value totaling 8.11 billion yuan, and the annual tax reaching 350 million yuan, creating 3,300 jobs. These projects involve new industries, agriculture, tourism and trade.
