Investment in transportation infrastructure hits 6.01 billion yuan

Shipu highway bridge was put into operation, road from Shengningxian Yinzhoudadao to Fenghua starts being constructed, and Ningbo-Zhoushan port Meishan Bonded Zone has launched its wharf project. In the first quarter of 2016, Ningbo invested 6.01 billion yuan in transportation infrastructure, up 52.2%, leading Zhejiang province.
Of all the investment that went to transportation infrastructure, highway project was invested 1.55 billion yuan, Hangzhou-Ningbo highway phase 1 project was granted 4.25 billion yuan and Shipu project will be approved. State and provincial projects received 750 million yuan in investment. Also gaining pace are phase 1 project of Hangzhou-Ningbo highway and Yuyao highway, Xiangxixianqiaotouhu project and Shenchuan reconstruction project. 421 million yuan was invested into water transport project. Investment was scaled up in railway to 470 million yuan, accounting for 27.6% of the yearly plan, up 47.3%. Airport infrastructure was built ahead of schedule more an investment of 640 million yuan ,taking up 35.1% of the yearly plan.
