Gasoline prices lowered again

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the country's top economic planner, announced on Tuesday it would cut the retail price of gasoline and diesel fuel. After the price adjustment, the price of 93# gasoline in Ningbo is lowered by 0.34 yuan per litre to 6.93 yuan per litre. NDRC has cut gasoline and diesel prices three times since May 10, bringing down the price of 93# gasoline, the most commonly used type of gas, to under 7 yuan.
The NDRC announced Tuesday a cut in retail gasoline and diesel prices by 420 yuan and 400 yuan per ton respectively, effective from Wednesday. The retail prices of non-standard gasoline and diesel are adjusted accordingly. Ningbo has issued the ceiling retail price of refined oil as follows: The price of 90# gasoline drops to 6.45 yuan from 6.76 yuan per liter. The price of 93# gasoline drops to 6.93 yuan from 7.27 yuan per liter. The price of #97 gasoline drops from 7.72 yuan per liter down to 7.37 yuan. The price of #0 diesel drops from 7.11 yuan down to 6.77 yuan per liter.
