10-minute fitness circle in Ningbo

Since 2004 when Ningbo started to carry out the "well-being sports project", the all-people fitness coverage rate in all administrative villages and communities had reached 100% by 2009. In recent years, with the improving standard of the project, it has developed from the stage of single fitness spots to that of the comprehensive sports centers.
So far, there are 8178 fitness spots, with ten to 20 pieces of fitness equipment for each spot, and 4103 ball sport courts in Ningbo. And almost all qualified administrative villages or communities are equipped with at least one all-people fitness spot. The sports centers at the township (street) level have been built. Since the completion of the comprehensive sports center in Quga Town of Yinzhou District, the district now has witnessed the establishment of the sports centers in 15 towns (or streets). 12 out of the 15 towns (or streets) have fitness centers, and two of them even have two sports centers. In addition, with the promotion of the provincial Sports Bureau, removable swimming pools have become popularized, and there are now 18 such pools in Ningbo.
