Biodiesel industrialization technology reaches international level

The new technology for biodiesel industrialization invented by Ningbo Jiesen Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd and Zhejiang University of Technology has already reached international level, as has confirmed by the evaluation committee leaded by Wang Xieqing, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The committee confirmed the company’s doing of producing biodiesels out of illegal cooking oils as environmental-friendly and being in line with national standards, and confirmed its social and economical effects at the same time.
Stationed at Songdai Town of Fenghua City, Ningbo Jiesen Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd is the only one company in Zhejiang that processes illegal cooking oils into biodiesels. The factory is built along the mountain and one can only tell it an energy company by its large raw material storage tanks, where thousands of tons of illegal cooking oils are stored in. Another factory plant seems more mysterious for it houses 12 patents of invention granted in China and one patent of invention granted in the US.


“One ton of illegal cooking oil can produce 0.9 ton of biodiesel by using the company’s device, and the rest 0.1 ton is transformed into other ancillary products”, said Wu Shiping, the company’s general manager. The maturing of its processing technologies makes it the designated unit to recycle Shanghai’s swill-cooked oil. 
Its biodiesels are also favored in the market. At present, the company recycles 1,500 tons of swill-cooked oil per month averagely, and produces 1,300 some tons of biodiesels, half of which become raw material for chemical companies and the other half sales in gas stations, pricing about 1, 000 yuan cheaper than common diesels per ton. Experiments show that diesel locomotives’ emission of PM2.5 can be reduced by 75 percent if it adds 10 percent to 20 percent of the company’s biodiesel into its fuel materials.
