International internet square to be built in Beilun

The cooperation agreement on the "International Internet Square: CAS Hackerspace", to be jointly built by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the managing committee of Ningbo International Marine Ecological Science and Technology City, and Ningbo Hackerspace Internet Square Development Co. Ltd., was signed in Beilun District on February 3. Located in Meishan, the project is the first industrial incubating hackerspace in Ningbo with the internet thinking as the link and the internet plus as the theme, as well as the first square in Zhejiang Province to be named with the pattern of "internet plus talents".
The international internet square will be constructed and operated with the model of "internet + talents + capital + platform", with a total investment of 500 million yuan and a total area of 92,000 square meters, covering such blocks as the President Palace, the hackerspace and the coastal tourist section. With the internet plus geeks as the service objects and based on the investors' talent resources network, the hackspace will be built as a complex integrating the hackerspace service providers, the internet + headquarter base, the internet financial settlement center and the international coastal (ecological) tourist and cultural center.
