According to a related department of Ningbo Hangzhou Bay New Area, in the first quarter of this year, there appeared an explosive increase in the utilization of foreign capital. By the end of March, the actual utilized foreign capital amounts to 300 million US dollars, over ten times year on year. The actual use of foreign capital and foreign investment reach 580.24% and 978.14% respectively year on year.
With the progress of the construction of the new town, 11 world top 500 companies opened in the New Area, and it has more world top 500 companies than other areas in Ningbo. This is indispensible with the unique geographic conditions and efficient services of the local government. Private enterprises have become a new force for foreign investment.
According to a responsible person of the Administrative Committee of Ningbo Hangzhou Bay New Area, ss one of the 14 provincial-level industrial clustering zones of Zhejiang, Ningbo Hangzhou Bay New Area attaches vital importance to investment invitation, especially the investment of the world top 500 enterprises. He said that Ningbo Hangzhou Bay New Area encourages private enterprises to have foreign investment. Related departments of Ningbo Hangzhou Bay New Area have given all support to the merging cases.
