Geely makes cars for the reception work of foreign affairs

On the afternoon of March 20, the first batch of 20 cars, Geely Borui GC9 was officially delivered for use in Beijing Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.
Qian Hongshan, assistant minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Li Shufu, chairman of Geely Holding Group, attended the ceremony as the representatives of both parties.
In recent years, the government has formulated a series of policies in terms of official cars and taken proactive measures to use domestic cars for official use so as to promote the reform on official cars. Last year, Personnel Service Bureau for Diplomatic Mission of Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed a cooperative agreement with Geely Holding Group. With high quality, reliable front-end and back-end services, Geely Borui has won the full recognition after long-time investigation and verification and was selected the new member of designated cars for reception work of foreign affairs and foreign envoys.
As the first type of mid-to high end cars after Geely’s strategic transformation, Borui stands out unprecedentedly among a series of cars in the field of deisgn, technique, safety and driving performance. It is the product painstakingly made by nearly 3,000 developers and designers of Geely and Volvo.
It is learned that Geely has already begun to presell Borui GC9 on three major e-commerce platforms including JD, Suning and Tmall at 10 am on March 16.
