Great harvest at the Agricultural Expo

The 2013 Zhejiang Agricultural Expo has concluded recently in Hangzhou. At the five-day agricultural expo, Ningbo delegation accumulated a total on-site sale of 15.28 million yuan, and seized 179 order contracts with a total value of 182 million yuan, a substantial increase over last year.
After the selection of tens of thousands of consumers in Hangzhou, 17 products from Ningbo were awarded the gold medal, including the "Beidefu" mustard from Yuyao County and "Ziyuntang" pickled vegetable; 43 products got the quality awards, including "Yimao" rice cakes and "Chuchuxiang" preserved kale borecole; and the "Doctor Sea" seafood seasoning powder was awarded the gold medal of new products.
The three family farms were doing well at the newly-launched family farm exhibition area. For example, the "Maibila Fruits & Vegetables Farm" attended the expo for the first time this year. With its featured product of red-meat dragon fruits, it received a lot of orders with the total value of several hundred thousand yuan during the five days.
