Foreign businesses generated sales volume of 500 bln

Foreign businesses have become an important part of the economy, being one of the three powerhouses, together with private businesses and state-owned enterprises. A report released a couple of days ago shows that last year the foreign businesses of Ningbo generated sales income of 500 billion USD, with the tax turned over reaching 24.1 billion yuan, up 55%. From April 15 to July 15, the competent departments of the city had an annual check of the registered foreign businesses. A total number of 5772 businesses have been checked, with the investment totaling 44.2 billion USD, registered capital 25.6 billion USD.
