Ningbo accelerates transportation construction

On July 19, Ningbo Transportation Bureau released a semi-annual report on transportation investment in the city: in the first half of the year, Ningbo completed an investment of 25.4 billion yuan in transportation, a year-on-year increase of 38%. Among others, the total investment in highway and waterway transportation reached 11.05 billion yuan, exceeding the annual plan by 18.7%, maintaining a good momentum for growth since the beginning of the year.
This year is the year with the highest number of highways (five in total) under construction in the history of the city, including the first and second phases of the double track of the Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, as well as the Xiangshan Bay Port Dredging Expressway, the Liuheng Highway Bridge, and the Shiyitang Expressway. Among them, the first phase of the double track of the Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, the Xiangshan Bay Port Dredging Expressway, and the Shiyitang Expressway are planned to be completed this year. In this regard, the transportation departments concerned in the city have carried out a special campaign to tackle key problems in major transportation projects. On the one hand, every effort has been made to focus on investment, construction and commencement. On the other hand, the
