Special Regulation Action of Traffic Order Coming

According to the Traffic Police Squad of NingBo Municipal Public Security Bureau on July 20, the special regulation action of traffic order — “Free Ningbo 2014-4” which is mainly targeted at the illegal acts such as riding an unlicensed or disqualified electric bike will be carried out during July 21 to September 30.
Ningbo citizens are always concerned with the illegal acts of electric bike riders. At present, there are still many disqualified or unlicensed electric bikes, some electric bikes run with a very high speed and most riders lack basic traffic knowledge, which causes more traffic accidents year by year, imposing threat to other people’s life and property and making the rider pay high price.
This special regulation action is mainly targeted at the illegal acts such as riding an unlicensed or disqualified electric bike. During the action, traffic police departments will conduct strict regulation action towards unlicensed and disqualified electric bikes by means of imposing fines or seizing the bike. Electric bikes of those riders who refuse punishments shall be seized by the traffic police. In addition, non-motorized vehicle administrative office will join hands with relative departments to conduct comprehensive management of the source of electric bikes.
