Tariff preferences saved 517 million USD for Ningbo exports

In 2011, Ningbo Inspection and Quarantine Bureau issued 402,400 certificates of origin, down 3.75% as against the previous year, with $ 13.808 billion, up 10.04%. With an average tariff reduction of 5%, Ningbo exports have saved $ 517 million in total.
There were 259,800 GSP Form A certificates of origin issued, worth $ 1638 million, up 20.11% and 47.94% respectively. Other certificates of origin issued reached 93,317, worth $ 3468 million, up 6.04%.
