Ningbo, Taiwan eye logistics cooperation

The Ningbo-Taiwan Logistics Cooperation Symposium kicked off in Taipei on November 9. Hong Jiaxiang, Ningbo's vice mayor, attended the opening ceremony and extended congratulations.
Hosted by Ningbo Meishan Bonded Port, and contracted by Taiwan Importers and Exporters Association, the symposium attracted more than 30 entrepreneurs from Taiwan trade, shipping, logistics, finance, investment, consulting sectors.
In the symposium, representatives from Ningbo introduced the location, function, and policy support of Ningbo's Meishan Bonded Port Area and the international logistics industry cluster area. They also stressed the key investment projects currently under way. Aiming to promote exchanges and cooperation between the two sides at the port resources and modern service areas, the symposium also serves as a platform for Ningbo logistic industry to learn Taiwan's experience in shipping services, foreign-related financial services and technological innovation.
