Invention rights rose by 20% this year

On July 13, a regular meeting of Zhejiang on the work of intellectual rights was held in Ningbo. Related authorities of intellectual rights departments of Zhejiang attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Yinzhou District Government made a speech. Attendants from Huangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jiaxing, Huzhou, Shaoxing, Jinhua, Taizhou , Quzhou , Zhoushan, Lishui, and Yiwu participated in a discussion. The attendants also paid a visit to Ningbo Intellectual Property Rights Service Platform and Ningbo Intellectual Property Rights Display Center.
This year, the applications to patent rights and the patents obtained kept growing. From January to June, the applications for patents amounted to 41,242, 69.3% more than the same period in the previous year. From January to June, the licensed patents in Ningbo amounted to 16,063, increased by 16.9% over the precious year. Of the total are 958 patents for invention, increased by 22.8% above the same period of the previous year.
