Good air quality during the holiday

The Municipal Environmental-protection Bureau issued the index of air quality during the Spring Festival Holiday. The statistics shows the air quality during the holiday was satisfactory on the whole: I class 3 days, II 4 days, with no polluted days. Compared with the Spring Festival of 2014, there were 1 more day with best air quality and 2 more days of 2nd class.
The head of the Environment Monitoring Center analyzed that the constant rainfalls during the holiday helped to clean and dilute the pollutants in the air. At the same time, the active air circulation also contributes to the diffusion of pollutants. Besides, the close of most enterprises and construction sites during the holiday and the less traffic also result in the less emission of pollutants. Another factor is the decline of fireworks during the holiday.
