Fiscal Revenue in 2015 Exceeds 200 Billion Yuan

On December 31, 2015, mayor Lu Ziyue successively visited some financial institutions such as ICBC Ningbo Branch, National Treasury of Ningbo and Ningbo Fund Settlement Center and so on. He extended New-Year greetings to the financial workers and cadres.
Lu Ziyue said in face of the complex situation and increasing economic downward pressure in 2015, the whole city fully implemented the policy decisions of the central government and provincial government and made great achievements. The city's financial system made important contribution to the city’s economic development. It tried to create the financial ecology model district and promote the innovations in financial services, insurance, comprehensive demonstration area construction and supporting real economy.
Lu Ziyue said finance constitutes the core of modern economy. Only when the financial sector thrives, is the economy prosperous. As 2016 is the beginning of the 13th Five-Year Plan, we should have a good start in developing economy. In order to lay a solid foundation for the fulfillment of the goals proposed at the 10th plenary session of the 12th Party Congress of Ningbo, the financial sector needs to render its due support. He hoped that the financial system can adapt to and lead the new situation, increase the intensity of reform and innovation, help enterprises reduce costs and improve the financial environment so that Ningbo can join in the first ranks of big cities in China.

On the morning of January 1, 2016, information from the city finance bureau told that the city realized a fiscal revenue of more than RMB 200 billion, up 11.4% from a year earlier. The local public finance’s income stands at 100.63 billion yuan, breaking through the threshold of 100 billion yuan. The central fiscal revenue is 106.63 billion yuan and the general public spending is 125.63 billion yuan. National tax revenue is 125.25 billion yuan.
