Demonstrative Area of Quality and Safety of Products for Export founded in Ningbo

On December 28, Xiangshan Demonstrative Area of Quality and Safety of Textile Products for Export passed the examination of Ningbo Administration for Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine and becomes the first Demonstrative Area of Quality and Safety of Products for Export founded in Ningbo.
今年， to implement the Guideline of Quality (2011-2020) by the State Council, Cixi, Yuyao, Ninghai and Xiangshan, where there are many leading industrial enterprises for export, started the program to build the demonstrative area of quality and safety for exported products on the foundation of some enterprises strong in management and innovation. This program aims to raise the integral management and product quality, to promote the export of the products with independent brands, and to promote the regional economic development.
Xiangshan County is one of China's largest production bases of textile products for export. The annual production capacity reaches over 200 million knitted dresses. In 2006, the textile industry of the county was appointed by Ningbo Municipality to be the demonstrative industry for the development of regional famous brands and since then it has played a decisive role in the economic and social development of Xiangshan. To further raise the core competency of clothes export of Xiangshan, Xiangshan County People's Government and Ningbo Administration for Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine jointly started the program Xiangshan Demonstrative Area of Quality and Safety of Textile Products for Export. The program aims to nurture a number of provincial and municipal-level enterprises, promote the industrial concentration, enhance the general quality of clothes export and promote the common development of auxiliary industries.
As the result of the efforts made in the past half a year, the demonstrative area passed the examination. 47 enterprises became the first group of demonstrative enterprises of the area, whose turnover of clothes for export amounts to about 200 million US dollars. These enterprises can enjoy over 10 preferential policies, and this will greatly raise the competitiveness of the enterprises and promote the regional textile industry.
