Financial revenue of Ningbo reaches 165.08 billion yuan in 2013

On January 1, Ningbo Municipal Financial Bureau and Ningbo Municipal Bureau of National Revenue announced that in 2013, the financial income of Ningbo amounts to 163.08 billion yuan, increased by 7.4% year on year. Of the total, the local finance amounts to 79.24 billion yuan, increased by 9.2%; the state revenue amounts to 85.84 billion yuan, increased by 5.8%. The public budget expenditure of Ningbo reaches 94.19 billion yuan, increased by 13.7%. Ningbo continues to be in the lead of Zhejiang for its state revenue.
In the last year, in face of the complicated economic situation, the financial and tax department worked hard. The local tax income collected reaches 62.509 billion yuan, up by 4.9% year on year.
While strengthening the work of collection and administration, the departments strictly control expenditures, to ensure the financial support to the improvement of people's livelihood. In the year, the state revenue amounts to 101.240 billion yuan, increased by 10.4% year on year, making historical new high. Of the cities independently listed in the national plan, Ningbo is another city whose state revenue is over 100 billion yuan, only next to Shenzhen.
