Themed activities to be launched in tourist attractions in Xiangshan

As the coming Dragon Boat Festival holiday coincides with the Children's Day, to cater for the needs of tourists, all the major tourist attractions in Xiangshan County will launch a series of themed activities involving folk customs and parent-child traveling.
Songlan Mountain Beach Resort will install the one-card system, with a deposit of only 20 yuan, a tourist may get a rechargeable card, which they can use in all the shops, on the food court, at the amusement park and for water sports at the resort. To celebrate the coming World Cup, the resort will have beach football and beach volleyball games for people. On June 1, there will be a family sand-carving competition, with all the 50 participating families having the chance to get such awards as the hotel buffet tickests and cat dolls, and the participating children can get a gift for free.
A paper plane flying game will be held in Xiangshan Film & TV City, where children can design and make creative paper planes to participate in the competition for the award of toy remote control helicopter. With the 3rd Film &TV Carnival, the tourists have the chance to join in the fim or TV character show (such as Mickey Mouse), the happy wedding show, the parade show and entertainment show.
The Shipu Port Ancient Town will hold the first Shipu Port Beer Festival with the theme of "gathering at the festival for the World Cup". Football fans can exchange ideas on football whild enjoying the beer. During the holiday, all the children tourists visiting the ancient town will be given some free Dragon Boat Festival gifts, and tourists can get awards by taking part in some interactive games.
On the evenings of May 31 and June 1, firework parties will be held on the Tantou Mountain Island along with such activities as barbecue, football and volleyball. Besides, such folk customs as wearing calamus, making traditional zongzi, drinking realgar wine and making fragrance bags will be held a the Maoyang Folk Custom & Culture Village. On Children's Day, children can take part in some activities for free with the ticets, including pottery making, treasure searching and plant adoption.
