New Industries Piloting Urban Industry in Jiangbei

A group of new industries with core technology and broad prospect for development has been brought up in Jiangbei District. Information from Economy and Information Bureau of the District shows that in the first half of 2015 investment on new industries in Jiangbei has been speeding up, adding up to a total industrial investment of 1.16 billion yuan with a year-on-year growth of 52.3% which tops growth rates in Ningbo; industries above designated scales have added a value of 3.9 billion yuan with a year-on-year growth of 11.3%; and the growth rate of the three urban-industrial industries( strategic new industry, high tech industry and new-type equipment manufacturing industry) is in the lead of growth rates in Ningbo.
Policy newly introduced in Jiangbei District shows that raising of the four core function zones: High-end commerce office, innovative economy of e-companies, functional aggregation of urban industries and livable and tourist ecology is made a strategic movement in the process of new-type urbanization, new industries like new material, new equipment(intelligent equipment), new generation IT, energy saving and environment protection, life and health care are made key industries, and urban industries are to be developed greatly. “our primary goal is to make Jiangbei a model district in unban industry development in Ningbo and a demonstrative base for unban industry transformation and upgrading in Zhejiang.” Says a major leader of Jiangbei District.
In Jiangbei Industrial Park, 12 preponderant dental medical equipment companies like US Henry Schein have entered dental industry zone. They are to share three public platforms like new tech testing platform. “Even the best seed needs soil to germinate.” Says Manager Xu Buguang from Lanye Medical Equipment Co. ltd. From producing parts to complete machines at the initial stage during starting-up, to integrating dental industry chain, and at last to building business incubator and industrial zone, Lanye has managed to turn its superior resources into a scale effect of the industry. In the coming 5 years, the number of companies in dental industry zone will increase to 30, with an annual production value reaching 500 million yuan.
Located in Ningbo(Jiangdong)High-Tech Industrial Park, Liandong U valley·Ningbo International Enterprise Harbor is targeting at urban industrial building economy.
