Innovative mentor group for returned talents

The forming meeting of the innovative mentor group for returned personnel in Ningbo was held on the afternoon of March 20. Zhang Yan，President of Ningbo EXCITON New Material Technology Co. Ltd., was invited as one of the first 14 mentors. Wang Yong, Vice-Secretary of Ningbo Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Ningbo attended the meeting and made an important speech.
In the last few years, as the municipal government and party committee has make it the city's most important strategic task to accelerate introducing high-end overseas talents to start business in Ningbo, the group of the high-end overseas talents has been expanding steadily. So far, 17 talents and 51 talents have been respectively included in the national and provincial "1000 talents project", and a number of returned talents have been quite successful in innovation and entrepreneurship. However, most of the returned personnel may meet such difficulties as unfamiliar environment, fierce competition, transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and lack of capital, which makes it necessary to learn from experienced innovative mentors. That's the main reason why Ningbo Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas decided to set up the mentor group.
Wang Yong extended congratulations on the foundation of the mentor group on behalf of the municipal party committee and municipal government. He said, the foundation of the innovative mentor is another big event for returned talents after the establishment of "Ningbo Haibang Talent Fund" in 2011, as well as an important action by Ningbo Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas of implementing the spirit of the 12th Municipal Party Congress. It is of great significance to giving full play of the advantages of the returned talents, implementing the strategy of "talents strengthening the city power", promoting the "six-quickening" strategy, providing services for enterprises and promoting the construction of innovative city.
