Docking meeting for plastics enterprises held in Yuyao

The docking meeting for plastics enterprises, hosted by Chinese Petrol and Chemical Industry Association, China Light Industry Association and Yuyao County Government, was held in Yuyao County on October 19, attracting 36 member enterprises of the World Plastics Council and 26 plastics enterprises in Yuyao to have discussions on new products, new technological achievements and market demands.
The unique traffic, information, talent conservation and the upstream and downstream industrial chain of Yuyao County left a deep impress on the participating foreign enterprises, and such Fortune 500 enterprises as Mitsubishi Chemical showed great interest in increasing investment in Yuyao. According to Mr. Steve Russell, Co-chairman of World Plastics Council and Vice-chairman of the US Chemical Council, there is broad room for docking between foreign enterprises and the household appliance and plastic processing enterprises in Yuyao County.
The local enterprises participated in the meeting to seek for technological transfer and realize the terminal sales of products by taking advantage of the international sales network of the multi-national enterprises.
The 17th China Plastics Expo will be held from October 21 to 24 in Yuyao County. As the annual meeting for WPC, the world’s largest plastics production and processing organization, the “3rd World Plastics Council Conference as well as the 11th International Forum for China Plastics Industry Development” will be held on October 20, being the first high-end international forum in the plastics field held in China.
During the plastics expo, with a total exhibition area of 42,000 square meters and 2000 booths, which attracts 423 enterprises, a series of technology lectures and enterprise docking activities will be held, including product exhibition, investment attraction, and trade negotiation.
