Cixi attracts talents for innovation

Cixi County ranks No.1 among the "2015 top 10 China Counties with Best Investment Environment", demonstrating its high level of both talent recruitment and project attraction.
The innovation-driven development is based on talents. In this new trend of innovation in management, brand, organization and business patterns, based on technological innovation, talents serve as the leading force and resource of innovation. The county government and party committee attaches great importance to talent recruitment for enterprises, with the "talent plus" development strategy to realize talent-driven innovation and innovation-driven development.
So far, the county boasts a total of 207,000 talents, including 4720 high-level ones, such as eight "1000 talents plan" experts at the state level, 12 "1000 talents plan" experts at the provincial level or "3315 plan" experts. 61 talent-leading projects have settled down in Cixi County, with a total venture capital and investment from local private capital of over one billion yuan, serving as an important impetus for the development of the emerging industries and the transformation and upgrading of the traditional industries.
With the aim of building a best ecological environment for talent development, Cixi County has made great efforts and provided follow-up support to facilitate the talents' working and living. All the departments concerned have their own lists of responsibilities and services to accelerate the all-around talent service system, and provide such entrepreneurial elements as capital agglomeration, policies, and platforms.
The introduction of leading talents and innovation has become a common choice for Cixi enterprises. By attracting leading talents and top experts from home and abroad, Cixi has cultivated a group of leading enterprises in such high-level industries as aerospace, internet of things, military industry, intelligent equipment, electronic information, energy conservation and environmental protection, and new materials. In traditional industries or in the field of modern agriculture, there are also some models for transformation and upgrading, such as the power connectors from Bull, the hub bearing units of Cixing Group, and Haitong Food.
