Cultural and commercial industry to be fostered in the Haishu District

The Haishu District, enjoying abundant resources in the core area of the historical and cultural Ningbo, fosters cultural and commercial industries, which help to promote economic growth and transform the growth pattern.
Under the principle of conservation first ,with reasonable exploitation and sustainable development combined, the District speeds up reform of the historical streets. The cultural industry zones around the Yuehu Lake and the Sanjiangkou (the convergence area of the Yaojiang River, the Fenghua River and the Yongjiang River) are to be constructed. The construction of areas around the Yingfeng Road and the Lianqiao Road will be started as Ningbo railway and track traffic are under construction. New elements,such as tourist and sightseeing, cultural display, business and creative industries,will be developed in the reform.Time-honored brands will also be protected and promoted into the commercial centers.
