"Charity for Common Prosperity Action" Were Launched
On the evening of September 3, the launching ceremony of the 2023 "China Charity Day" Ningbo Publicity Month and "Charity for Common Prosperity" was held in Ningbo Wuyi Square. With the theme of "Join hands in charity and create a better life", this event focused on the field of "charity + rescue", gathered the city's philanthropic forces, and helped common prosperity.
The city's charitable donation and charitable trust index was released at the event. It is understood that the total amount of charitable donations in Ningbo reached 1.65 billion yuan in 2022, and the donation amount in the first half of 2023 was 810 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 124.52%. In terms of charitable trusts, in 2022, Ningbo will add 86.3001 million yuan to the new scale, an increase of 40 times over the previous year, achieving full coverage of districts (counties and cities). From January to August 2023, Ningbo added 109.2558 million yuan of new charitable trusts, which is the first city in the province to exceed 100 million, ranking first in the country in terms of new scale. The cumulative filing scale (actual receipt) of charitable trusts in the city exceeded 200 million yuan, ranking 7th in the country
