The statistics of consumption on the internet shopping released by alibaba.com shows that
in 2012 women of Ningbo spent 5.151 billion yuan on internet shopping.
Women are always the major force of the internet shopping, accounting for over 50% of the total, as is shown in the figure of 2012. Statistics show that in the past years (from December 2011 to November 2012), women of Ningbo spent 5.151 billion yuan on Taobao, ranking the 10th in China.
For those lovers of digital products, the per capita number reaches over 15 in the year.
Statistics show that apart from the expenditure on life necessities, some people buy a mobile phone every month. Some people have over 2 i-pads, at least 1.7 lenses of cameras, and over 16 ear-phones.
Some people in the year spent 60,000 yuan on digital products, half of which are not for daily use.
Of the digital products fans, about 18,500 people each buy over 15 digital products on average in 2012. Their favorites range from integrated computer, desktop computer, camera for collection and large and middle sized cameras.
