A steady economic growth in the first half of year

Ningbo witnessed a steady economic growth in the first half of year. At the news release held by the news office of Ningbo Municipal Government, Tang Bosheng, director of the Ningbo Municipal Statistics Bureau, introduced the economic situation in the first half of year. The gross regional product reached 325.89 billion yuan, up by 8.4% over the same period. The increasing speed is 0.1% higher than that of the first quarter.
The added value of the first industry was 11.31 billion yuan, up by 1.7% over the same period; the added value of the second industry was171.66 billion yuan, up by 8.4% and that of the tertiary industry was 142.91 billion yuan, up by 8.9%. The industry ratio was 3.5∶52.7∶43.8 with the tertiary industry taking 0.6% more over the same period.
The industrial economy grew steadily. The added value of the enterprises above designated size achieved 107.31 billion yuan, up by 7.9% over the same period of last year and 0.8% higher than that of the first quarter. The proportion of products sold was 97.3%, up by 0.7% over the same period. The electricity consumption of the manufacturing industry in the first half of year was 17.66 billion kilowatt, an increase of 5% over the same period, 4.4% higher than that of the first quarter. The increasing trend is in accordance with that of the added value.
The investment kept increasing. The investment of the fixed asset was 174.47 billion yuan, up by 20.4% over the same period. The foreign trade increased slowly at a speed of 1.6% with the total import and export volume being ＄47.95 billion. The export volume reached ＄30.97 billion, up by 4.0% and the import volume decreased by 2.6% to＄16.97 billion.
The income of urban and rural residents increased steadily. The disposable income of urban residents reached 22,616 yuan, increasing by 9.8% and the cash income of rural residents reached 12,673yuan, up by 10.7% over the same period, 0.9% higher than that of the urban residents. The wage income, the major increase source, increased by 69.7% and 67.2% respectively in the first half of year.
