Two CEEC industrial parks to be built

The opening ceremony of the two industrial parks, the CEEC (Ningbo) Trade and Logistics Park to be jointly funded by Ningbo Economic and Technological Development Zone and Bydgoszcz Development Zone of Poland, and the CEEC (Ningbo) Industrial Park to be jointly funded by the Binhai Economic Development Zone of Cixi County and the European Economic Development Zone of Bulgaria, was held at the industrial park promotion meeting of the China-CEEC Investment and Cooperation Expo on the morning of June 10.
The construction of the two industrial parks has opened a new page for the cooperation between Ningbo and the central and eastern European countries in building industrial parks, and will greatly promote the bilateral cooperation by helping more enterprises from Ningbo and the CEEC countries to have a better understanding of each other's investment environment and related policies and boosting the two-way investments of the two parties.
To enable products from the central and eastern European countries to enter the Chinese market via Ningbo Port in a faster and more convenient way, Ningbo will build the CEEC (Ningbo) Trade and Logistics Park at Ningbo Bonded Zone. By taking advantage of the complete and highly efficient cross-border E-business service platforms and storage and logistics base, the park will provide display, trade and experience space and such services as storage, inspection, simple processing, and delivery, with its four functional zones as the display and trade zone, the bonded storage and delivery zone, the cross-border E-business zone, and the comprehensive service zone. It intends to become a pilot demonstration area for China-CEEC trade and logistics cooperation and an important functional area of Ningbo's "one belt, one road" construction by attracting the settlement of 500 trade enterprises from central and eastern European countries and an annual trade volume of US$1 billion upon three to five years’ construction.
The CEEC (Ningbo) Industrial Park will be located at the Binhai Development Zone of Cixi County, with a startup area of one square kilometer, with the focus on the introduction of such industries with high added value as high-tech machinery manufacturing, electronic information, environment-friendly equipment, auto parts, featured textile and cultural creativity. Meanwhile, it will integrate the technology, talents, management and capital transfer from the central and eastern European countries for cooperation in developing technologies. It is planned to be completed with basic infrastructure by 2021, as a modern industrial park with intensive functions, low-carbon industries and environmental-friendly development.
The promotion meeting witnessed the promotion of 12 industrial parks, and the other ten parks are from such countries as Poland, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia, Romania, Hungary and Latvia
