Well-known brands in Cixi among the top ranks in Zhejiang

Recently, Zhejiang Ningbo Commission Office for Top Brand Strategy Promotion publicized a list of top brands in 2015, in which five Cixi name-brand products were awarded “Zhejiang Famous Brand” and fifteen “Ningbo Famous Brand”. In 2015,the number of new name-brand products of municipal level and above in Cixi ranked first in Ningbo.
Name-brand products reflect the economic muscle and technical ability of a district. Last year, by virtue of advantages like superiority over their counterparts, high market share and customer satisfaction, five name-brand productsfrom different industrial enterprises won the laurel as “Zhejiang Famous Brand”: the enameled copper wireof Ningbo Xinjian New Material Technology Co., Ltd.; the copper and copper-alloy cold-drawn rod of Ningbo Zhanci Metal Industry Co., Ltd; the downlight of Ningbo Dongxing Electric Co., Ltd.; the waterproof LED light of Ningbo Violet Lighting Electric Co.,Ltd. and etc..
Early in 2006, Cixi released “Several Comments on the Implementation of Brand Strategy” and Cixi Name-brand Products Regulation, and also set about fostering and evaluating local name-brand products. Through the evaluation of name-brand products, the brand developing teams of companies were strengthened, and furthermore, a four-tier brand cultivating system came into being which focused on brands of national, provincial, municipal and local level. So far, enterprises possessing famous brands have been on the increase, extending from top 100 companies in sales to top 1000. A batch of large and medium-sized enterprises with considerable scale advantage possessed a quite renowned brand, boosting their competitiveness and market share. Statistics showed that name-brand products occupied over 40% of the total sales volume in 2015.
According to reports, Cixi has 98 products awarded “Zhejiang Famous Brand” and 281 “Ningbo Famous Brand” in total by far. The total number of products awarded ranks first in Ningbo and among the top in Zhejiang. In a newly-released list of Cixi name-brand products, Ningbo Junye Sports & Stationery Article Co., Ltd. has 17 products awarded as Cixi famous, including its Rubik’s Cube. and the trademarks of 14 companies including Ningbo Violet Lighting Electric Co., Ltd. became Cixi Famous Trademark.
