3rd-party payment platform for bulk commodity put into operation

At 10.30am of March 3rd, an enterprise from Hangzhou completed a payment of 500,000 yuan to the online market of Zhejiang Plastic City by means of the "Yongyipay" account. As the first order conducted on the platform, it marked the successful docking between the "Yongyipay" platform and the online market of Zhejiang Plastic City, the first e-commerce platform for plastic products in China, as well as the official operation of the first third-party payment platform for bulk commodity in Zhejiang Province.

The payment platform, funded by Zhejiang Yongyi E-payment Co. Ltd. with a total investment of over 20 million yuan and a development period of two years, aims to provide the third-party payment services for the booming e-commerce industry in China. The company was established in July 2011 and in June 2012 it obtained the license for payment services issued by the People's Bank of China. So far, it is the only one enterprise in Ningbo to be qualified for this kind of license and the platform, the only third-party payment platform in Zhejiang Province to have the experience of bulk commodity trading and payment settlement.

The platform provides the specialized third-party payment service for the bulk commodity market in Ningbo. With the payment independent of the market, the security of credit and capital is realized to effectively prevent related risks, which serves as a strong support for the building of the bulk commodity trading center in Ningbo. Meanwhile, this platform may also satisfy such e-commerce payment demands as cross-border payment, P2P online loans management, online shopping and bill payments.
