Ningbo becomes first national inclusive financial comprehensive demonstration zone

It is learned from Ningbo central branch of People's Bank of China that Ningbo has been recently approved as the first comprehensive demonstration zone for inclusive finance in China.
As is known, the inclusive finance, first proposed in 2005 by the United Nations, means providing reasonable, convenient and fast financial services for the poor areas, micro and small enterprises and low-income groups and constantly improving the accessibility of financial services by strengthening policy support and improving market mechanism.
Several days ago, Ningbo central branch of People's Bank of China openly asked for advice on the "implementation of inclusive financial comprehensive demonstration zone in Ningbo".
Based on the advice, the People's Bank of China approved the proposal and decided to construct the comprehensive demonstration zone. It is reported that as the first of its kind in China, the comprehensive demonstration zone for inclusive finance will mainly benefit such special groups as farmers, micro and small enterprises, urban low-income groups, the disabled and the elderly
