New exhibition area built for Internet plus manufacturing

It is learned from the Smart City Office of Ningbo Economic and Information Technology Committee that at this year's Smart Expo, a new exhibition area will be built for the Internet plus manufacturing products, covering 2000 square meters. The exhibitors will include such business leaders as Siasun Robot, Joyson Electronics, Baitong Robot and Hollysys.
Joyson Electronics will bring the four-axis robot with the highest precision provided by Kuka Robotics (German), which can interact with people by rolling and guessing dice, and can complete the puzzle combination by taking pieces from a rotating platform. Siasun Robot will arrange its exhibition area as a dining hall, where the citizens can enjoy the services by the robots after making a reservation.
According to some experts, as the smart city construction comes to its fifth year, the "smart city" is more real applications in life than just concepts, and the smart programs have been used in all walks of life. Smart manufacturing, as the product of the high integration of information technology and industrialization, is an important part of the smart city construction, as well as a key strategy for industrial development in the country.
Statistics show that by the end of 2014, the integration index of information technology and industrialization has reached 85 points, and 25 enterprises in Ningbo have been included in the Top 500 Chinese information enterprises. Currently, over 95% of the enterprises have adopted information technology in their production, with the digitalization rate of the key industrial procedures reaching 60,3%, the popularity rate of the digitalized R&D tools reaching 91.1%, and the application rate of the supply chain management reaching 62.2%.
