A new index of 100 cities housing prices issued on May 1st by the China Index Academy showed that in the month of April the average price for the newly built housing in Ningbo fell 113 yuan/m² to 12341 yuan/m², a drop of 0.91% compared with the March price. According to earlier statistics the average price in March, February and January was 12454, 125125 and 12455 yuan/m² respectively.
The research data showed that this year the average (newly built) housing price of 100 cities across the country declined 0.01% on April to 10522 yuan/m², a slight fall of 0.01%, deducing from 0.15% of the previous month. On the terms of price action, prices rose in 39 cities, fell in 60 cities and remained unchanged in one city. Ningbo ranked 83 in the list of housing price falling cities.
The ten cities suffering the biggest drop in the average price for newly built housing are Dongying, Luoyang, Quanzhou, Haikou, Hohhot, Hangzhou, Zhuzhou, Yichang, Guilin and Zhenjiang. Among other 50 cities appearing price fall, the city of Boji, Shaoxing and Ningbo kept the drop between0.9%-1.2%.
