Export of Ningbo to Brazil increased by 7%

The 2016 Summer Olympic to open in Brazil is an attraction to enterprises of Ningbo. According to statistics from Ningbo Customs, in the first 10 months in 2012, the exports via Ningbo customs value 2.85 billion US dollars, increased by 7% over the same period of last year, 5.3 points higher than the general growth of the export in the same period in the past year.
The huge demands of infrastructural construction and consumer goods by the Olympics have stimulated the exports of mechanic products, knitting wear, sportsware and light-industrial products to Brazil. In the first 10 months this year, the exports of electromechanical equipment via Ningbo customs value 1.52 billion US dollars, increased by 7.4% year on year. Of the total, the export of home appliances amounts to 160 million, increased by 8.6%; the export of LED panels amounts to 120 million US dollars, increased by 88.3%; the export of automobile parts amounts to 97.47 million US dollars, increased by 14.2%.
