1/4 listed companies in Ningbo are from electronic industry

According to the celebration meeting on the 10th anniversary of Ningbo Electronic Industry Association, of the 40 listed companies, 10 are from electronic industry. By the end of the 12th Five-year-plan Period, Ningbo expects to have five more listed companies out of the electronic industry.
Reportedly, in the past ten years, the annual growth of the electronic industry in Ningbo is over 30%. At present, the annual output is above 150 billion yuan. It has 900 large enterprises, of which 14 each has its annual output exceeding 1 billion yuan, 7 exceeding 2 billion yuan, and 2 exceeding 3 billion yuan. The city has 78 enterprises in high and new technologies.
Unlike the conventional electric industry, the electronic industry has shifted to the R&D and sales of products of telecommunications, computer, digital TV, intelligence instrument, new energy, new light, new material and component.
