25 Ningbo companies listed in Top 500

The 2013 ranking of China's top 500 private companies was released on Monday by China Non-government Enterprise League, Chinese Statistical Association, and Enterprise Research Center of China Academy of Management Science. 25 Ningbo  companies were named in the list.

According to the list, the top 500 companies chalked up 10.496958 trillion yuan in operating revenue, or an average of 20.993 billion yuan, up 12.88 percent over the previous year. The total assets amounted to 11.570987 trillion yuan, or an average of 23.141 billion yuan per company, up 15.36 percent compared with previous year. The top 500 companies created 66.98 million jobs, or an average of 1.3 million jobs per company, up 6.97 percent over the previous year.

Among the 25 local companies, the Youngor Group, the Aux Gr

oup, and the Grand Group Corporation took the lead. Both the Youngor Group and the Aux Group entered the top 40 in the list. In addition, Yinyi Real Estate Co. Ltd., Ningbo Jintian Copper Co.,Ltd, Ningbo (Fubang) Holdings Group are also above most companies in the ranking. Companies in the field of clothing, machinery manufacturing, trade, and real estate still dominates the list while companies of new materials, new technologies, and commerce are rare.
 
Research shows that China's private companies strived to seek progress while reducing risks in 2012. Through adjusting structure and transforming the development mode, Chinese companies seized the opportunity to promote international industrial restructuring and reorganization and actively participate in international competition. They increased investment in research and development while improving the management level.

In addition, the year 2012 saw the rapid growth of China's private companies who participate in international competition and investment projects. 156 of the top 500 Chinese private companies have developed overseas investment, an increase of 11 over the previous year, accounting for 31.2 percent of the total listed companies. In Ningbo, seeking overseas development has become a new trend for private companies. More than 80 percent of the 25 listed companies are developing or already developed the international market.
