Central Media Focus on Characteristic Town Development in Yinzhou

On the morning of March 24, over 20 reporters from central, provincial and municipal media gathered together in Liangzhu Love-themed Town and Siming Financial Town of Yinzhou.
On January 28, Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced the creation list and cultivation list of the second batch of provincial characteristic towns. Yinzhou Siming Financial Town was successfully selected into the creation list and Yinzhou Modern Tram Town the breed list. At present, Yinzhou District is actively preparing for application of the third batch of provincial characteristic towns.
Siming Financial Town, located in the center of Yinzhou District, covers an area of 3.2 square kilometers with five functional zones, namely, the fund management zone, landscape zone, commercial and housing zone, CBD and business incubator zone. It is the most prosperous area in Yinzhou and the only financial town in Ningbo currently. The town is aimed to become featured financial gathering area, private capital docking experimental area, Ningbo financial and cultural display area and financial elite social gathering area. It strives to invest over 7 billion yuan, establish over 500 financial institutions, exceed 600 million yuan tax revenue, add 5000 job opportunities, and attract 320 thousand tourists by the end of 2017. Its five-year-target is gathering together thousands of new types of financial institutions with more than one hundred billion yuan assets.
Liangzhu Love Town plans to cover 3.07 square kilometers. It aims to create a new type of economic growth by integrating traditional love legend with wedding economy. In the future, it will develop itself into a livable, productive and environmental town by combining love, culture and tourism together
