Golden Nectarines Cut a Figure
In the morning of July 9, new cultivar of nectarines, Golden Nectarines, were picked successively in the planting base of Taohuayuan Eco-agriculture Company Limited. Their unusual price, 160 to 180 yuan per kilogram, caught the attention of e-commerce dealers.
Golden Nectarine is a new-born baby in Fenghua Nectarine Family. Researchers have made over 10 years of devotion in its cultivation. Gold Nectarines are good in taste and nice to look.
In 2014, 100 mu of Golden Nectarines were put into mass production and were all reserved before they came into the market by dealers from Hangzhou, Shanghai, Nanjing, etc. The price of every box of Golden Nectarines reached 200 yuan in terminal sales which means each one was priced 30 yuan.
"Yulu" is a major cultivar in Fenghua. It is high in quality but unsuitable for storage or long-distance transportation. While Golden Nectarine is an improved breed with great promotion value since it acquires the advantages of both Yulu and Baili and strengthens its storage capability. Although its production is lower, its production value is more than twice of the ordinary breed.
In rich phase, the production value of Golden Nectarine can be expected to reach 60,000 per mu.
