Cixi TRADE (GROUP) CO., LTD was officially set up a couple of days ago, marking a substantial step forward in the reform of the commerce and trade management system of the Cixi City. Vice Mayor Xu Wendong was present at the inauguration ceremony and presented the name plate to the company.
The establishment of the Trade (Group) Co., Ltd is an important decision of the municipal party committee and the municipal government. It is an important move to deepen the reform of state-owned enterprises, integrate quality assets and resources and improve the efficiency of state-owned assets operation. It is of far-reaching significance for optimization of state-owned asset allocation, cultivation of market entities and improvement of large-scale and intensive operation.
The Trade (Group) is one of the five groups directly subordinate to the municipal government. With the registered capital of 100 million yuan, it is mainly engaged in investment and development of trade and logistics projects, management, market development and business services. After the establishment of the Group, the municipal commercial affairs office will delegate the management right of all the state-owned enterprises for the Group to manage, thus realizing the separation of government and enterprises and government and assets.
By ways of financing and introducing strategic investors, the Trade Group shall make great development of the commodity and market park and the comprehensive logistics park. It will take an active part in major commercial service facilities and the infrastructure construction of modern logistics. It aims to have total assets of two billion yuan by the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan period.
At the meeting, Xu Wendong pointed out that the newly established Trade Group should work hard on how to grow larger and stronger, how to develop a trade and commerce platform and how to form a carrier of commerce and trade that is highly competitive. He expressed the hope that the Group could overcome difficulties, work wholeheartedly, practically and innovatively to open up a new era. He added that it should develop a qualified work team and play a positive role in promoting the economic and social development of the city.
