Renovation of the Ningbo section of Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo expressway starts from April 12

From April 12, the renovation project of the Ningbo sector of Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo expressway will start. As large number of alternate construction projects may bring additional pressure to the normal operation of highways, construction units should strengthen security control in the construction sites. Meanwhile, drivers are expected to be more careful.
The renovation projects also include 55 bridgeheads in the 64.5-kilometers Ningbo section, 60thousand kilograms of road damage-healing, 7.5-kilometer pavement overlaying at some sections between G92 Hangzhou and Ningbo HighwayK252一270(or Moushan to Yuyao) and the 46-kilometer geothermal regeneration project. The total investment reached 40.78 million yuan and the main project is to be completed before October 30.
According to technical personnel of maintenance department of Hangzhou and Ningbo Highway administrative office, while carrying on the renovation work, other maintenance and security programs between S5 Hangzhou and Ningbo highway K0一K9 (i.e.Gaoqiao Flyover to Gulin) will be under construction, such as bridge renovation, bridge reinforcing ,greening constructing, boundary fence upgrading. Besides, overcrossing highway bridges to Gaoqiao and the airport are under construction.
