Spring Session of the 12th Housing and Furnishing Expo Concludes

The Spring Session of the 12th China International Housing and Furnishing Expo has concluded at the Ningbo International Exhibition Centre after a 4-day exhibition. Information from the organizing committee shows that the Expo attracts over 30,000 buyers, 120 groups of trade and purchase, and 100,000 common people for a visit and purchase, contributing 4.1billion yuan to the city’s economy as a result of the signed contracts, intended transactions and the relevant industries reaches.
The Housing Section receives special attention. Statistics reveal that there are over 30 developers participating in the Expo with 40 housing projects for exhibition, half of which are in downtown. The number of housing projects remains the same with that of previous session. The proportion of buildings in sale and in presale is half-half. Motivated by various promotions, such as “Houses on Sale”, “Presents Giving”, and “10,000 prepaid gets 50,000 in value”, many people become intended clients. For example, a building of 30 homes in Yinzhou offers a free car to each buyer, and 10 homes have already been sold out. In addition, the projects in exhibition of a local large developer have got 300 intended buyers.
The price of the residential building projects remains stable. An analyst claims it is because developers have a certain expectation in property policies, especially in a slackening of housing –purchase restriction policy. But he also thinks, even if there is a slackening of the restriction, a rising demand is not promised. After all, the supply at present is tremendous, and a building in a heated zone may have to compete with more than 10 projects in the proximity. “Buildings should be sold out as early as possible.” He says.
Besides the housing developers, exhibitors of construction materials, home decorations and furniture, have also received a great number of orders. An integral housing furniture company, who provides integral services including water and electricity system, flooring, kitchen cabinet, and other furniture, wins over 100 prospective customers. A local brand of kitchen appliance which features in smart kitchen gets orders worth millions of yuan.
It’s learned that the Summer Session of 2014 will be held at the Ningbo International Exhibition Center from July 4th to 7th.
