Ningbo to promoting economy by e-marketing program

This year, the e-business industry in Ningbo sees a rapid development. According to the recently released “Opinions on Speeding up the Development of E-business, by 2017, the retail sales of e-business shall be over 180 billion yuan and tth the annual turnover shall reach 500 billion yuan.
E-business is characteristic of high scientific and technological contents, high added value and environmental friendliness. According to the Opinions, in the years to come, Ningbo will turn itself into a powerful national-level e-business city and a central international e-business city. Taking e-business as an important strategic emerging industries and pillar of the economy of Ningbo, the city will construct an e-commerce industrial chain with distinctive local features. By 2017, the popularity rate of e-business in enterprises shall be over 85% and the international e-business shall reach 10% of the total of foreign trade.
According to the Opinions, Ningbo will open Shop of Ningbo Choice Commodities and Ningbo Special Department on Alibaba and Taobao. The city will encourage qualified counties, cities and districts to open their shops and carry out the program to enlarging the e-market.
In the coming years, the city will encourage qualified enterprises of means of production and professional whole sale markets to carry out spot trading. In three to five years, e-business shall be popularized in all trade enterprises, industrial enterprises, foreign trade enterprises and professional markets.
