Ningbo Museum attracts 35,000 visitors

During the Spring Festival holiday, the weather is agreeable for people to go outdoors. The Ningbo Museum has become a popular destination for many people. According to the working staff of the museum, for the first four days of the holiday, over 35,000 people were attracted to the museum for exhibitions and the temple fair activities.
As in other years, during the Spring Festival holiday, there are some special activities at Ningbo Museum. Before the holiday, four pavilions were set up at the hall on the first floor of the museum, serving as the experience spots for such folk customs as paper cutting, cake making, spring couplet writing and inscription rubbing. Over the past four days, the museum has attracted many visitors for cultural experience and food tasting, and everywhere is full of the festive atmosphere.
In addition, the reopened "bamboo carving pavilion" has attracted lots of visitors. The "bamboo carving collection exhibition by Qin Bingnian" is on display during the holiday, and with a total of 181 bamboo carving exhibits, it has become a highlight of the museum events.
Reportedly, the museum greeted the visitor peak at the midday of the Spring Festival day, and the average number for daily visitors is about 10,000, with most of the visitors in the family form and a considerable number of "new Ningbonese" among the visitors. With the growth of the visits, the services are more demanding, like the free introductions, visiting group organizations, the guidance and consultancy services. Besides the museum staff, some volunteers have taken the initiative to devote to the services.
