Ningbo Free Trade Zone Chamber set up

Ningbo Free Trade Zone Chamber was set up on Apr. 27, with its first 45 members from such industries as trading, logistics and high & new technologies.
Among the 3,600 companies in the free trade zone, a total of 2,800 companies are private ones, accounting for 80 percent of the total, which are mainly in the tertiary industry of such businesses as wholesale and retail trade as well as transportation and warehousing. To be specific, over 1,000 companies are either dealing with producer goods such as metals, solid chemicals, coals and ships etc or in the trade of such consumer goods as wines and olive oils.
