3000 privately-owned businesses become enterprises

Since the beginning of 2013, more and more privately-owned businesses have been urged to develop, upgrade and transform. In the first half of this year, 3,469 privately-owned businesses, 75.2% of the total number, have developed into enterprises.
Favorable policies on tariff, social security, finance are offered in Ningbo city to encourage individual businessmen to enlarge business and turn into enterprises. Similar policies are also seen in Cixi, Ninghai and Dong Qianhu Lake.
The individual businessmen who have a capital of 100,000 yuan which will be in deposit for 5 years and who have management experience will have the priority to register as enterprises.
The first five enterprise categories that privately-owned businesses have turned into are manufacturing, wholesale and retailing, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishing, resident service, housing and catering. There are 1,521 manufacturing enterprises and 1,126 wholesale and retailing enterprises, 76.3% of the total.
