The semi-finals of the Ningbo Poetry Club ended

On the afternoon of May 25th, a meeting of little poetry lovers arrived as scheduled. On the same day, as one of the featured sub-activities of the 2024 Ningbo National Reading Activity of “I Accompany My Children to Read Classics”, the second Ningbo Youth Poetry Fair of “Poetry Gathering Sanjiang Boya Youth” was held in Yinzhou Xinlanqing School.
The 340 contestants in the live competition that day were selected from more than 3,200 contestants. After the second selection, 48 of them will advance to the final selection.
Make sachets, light flowers, recite poems, throw pots and bows...... On the same day, the organizers of the event also held an ancient garden activity with the theme of “Poetry Collection”, and the contestants went to check in after the competition and felt the “link” between
poetry and life. Many contestants specially prepared traditional costumes such as Tang costumes, Hanfu costumes, and horse-faced skirts to match the theme of the event.
Before the nine-square grid game of poetry, the children competed with each other. The contestants said that after experiencing the garden activities, they had a more specific feeling about the scenes described in some poems.
The event was hosted by the Ningbo Municipal Education Bureau and undertaken by the Ningbo University Park Library. The organizers said that they hope to guide primary and secondary school students to get close to traditional classics in the form of poetry competition, show the profound cultural heritage of Ningbo students, and create a brand activity of Ningbo youth poetry
