Customs statistics show that in the first half of this year, Ningbo's import trade from Central and Eastern European countries was 6.70 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 37.6%, accounting for 6.7% of the country. Among them, imported mechanical and electrical products were 3.59 billion yuan, metal ores and mineral sands 320 million yuan, and steel products were 130 million yuan, an increase of 57.7%, 6.6 times and 2 times respectively.
Benefiting from the large platform provided by the 3rd China-CEEC Expo, the majority of Ningbo foreign trade enterprises are full of confidence in deepening the market of CEEC countries and expanding the import of high-quality products. Ningbo Customs recently issued 20 measures to optimize the business environment and promote cross-border trade facilitation, which has provided assistance to enterprises.
Ningbo is a demonstration zone for economic and trade cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries, and also the second batch of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones in China, and the two characteristic business cards of "Central and Eastern Europe" and "cross-border e-commerce" have realized a two-way trip in Yongcheng.
